Open Day & Pitch Innovation

On May 23rd, LAMEIRINHO held a successful Open Day & Pitch Innovation at its facilities in Guimarães. This event brought together textile industry leaders, innovation and investment experts and several startups/SMEs.

The aim was to discuss innovation and demonstrate the technological advances made in the Textile of the Future test bed, culminating in a Pitch of ideas between startups.

On 30 September, during the Aveiro Tech Week event, the Textile of the Future project had the honour of receiving a visit from the Secretary of State for the Economy, João Rui Ferreira, the president of ANI, João Grilo and the president of IAPMEI, José Pulido Valente

On May 26th, LAMEIRINHO was present in an initiative promoted by UPTEC, which aimed to create links between companies and the university.

LAMEIRINHO's project Textile of the Future, carried out in collaboration with Data CoLAB, was presented on the 31st of March at the National Test Beds Network at the University of Aveiro.

Lameirinho was present at TECH4INNOV with Textile of the Future project. Held on March 29, in this event, promoted by ANI, the theme under discussion was "The Present and Future of Innovation in Portugal".

From 20 to 22 March, LAMEIRINHO was present at the Textile Journeys featured at the University of Minho. Beyond presenting the project, the creation of synergies between textile engineering students and companies was also accomplished.
