LAMEIRINHO’s project Textile of the Future, carried out in collaboration with Data CoLAB, was presented on the 31st of March at the National Test Beds Network at the University of Aveiro.

The event was graced with the presence of the President of the Portuguese Republic, the Portuguese Prime Minister, the Portuguese Minister of Presidency, the Portuguese Minister of Economy and Sea, the Portuguese Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, as well as the Portuguese Secretaries of State for the Economy and for Digitalization and Administrative Modernization.

LAMEIRINHO showcased the project’s progress with two start-ups, Enging and Ihcare. By 2025, several products and services will be tested and propelled to foster technological advancement, digital transition and environmental sustainability within the textile industry.
